Edible Wedding Favors #trending #sweetness
Hey all!!
Een van de meest moeilijke zaken tijdens de huwelijksplanning is het nagaan wat jullie gasten gaan meegeven als presentje of te wel "wedding favor" aan het eind van de receptie. We kennen allemaal de amandeltjes in tulle... en de over bekende theelichtjes in tulle...no shade, maar ze hebben wel hun tijd al gehad.
Een step up van de amandelen zijn nu de "edible favors". Dus ook eetbaar als de amandeltjes maar een beetje luxer en chiquer. 1. Popcorn
Popcorn?! Yip popcorn. Niet zomaar popcorn, maar artisan or gourmet popcorn.
Artisan popcorn is popcorn die op kleine schaal, door skilled people op de hand wordt vervaardigd. Het is te verkrijgen in verschillende smaken zoals bijvoorbeel salted caramel, toasted coconut caramel, white cheddar & black truffle or even the combination of asiago, parmesan & cheddar. Er zijn verschillende bedrijven, die dan over verschillende smaken beschikken.
Het leuke hiervan is dat er super leuke manieren zijn om dit te presenteren. Gasten kunnen het in een paper cone, box of potje meenemen..maar je kan ook gewoon een popcorn bar hebben.
Gasten kunnen dan na een bepaald tijdstip lekker snacken of het meenemen naar huis.
2. Cake pops
What is a cake pop? Wikipedia says: "A cake pop is a form of cake styled as a lollipop. Cake crumbs are mixed with icing or chocolate, and formed into small spheres or cubes in the same way as cake balls, before being given a coating of icing, chocolate or other decorations and attached to lollipop sticks."
You can let them be as plain or fancy as you like them to be. It's practically cake on a stick LOL.. gelukkig wel net zo lekker. Net als normale cake, kan je zelf beslissen wat voor smaak of smaken ze krijgen. Be creative, en als je een thema hebt kan dat ook verwerkt worden bij de cake pops.
3. Lollipops
Yes you read correctly, lollipops.. Denk niet aan chupa chups of de lollis met kauwgum in het midden, but more like a grown elite cousin of them. En ja, a lot of adults still like lollipops (I plead the fifth LOL). From tasty gourmet flavors to edible flowers, confetti and marbled versions, these are (almost) too good to eat..
4. Meringues
Meringues beter bekend in Suriname als schuimpjes..heerlijk zoet! Mini meringue roses, pops & drops (hangt helemaal af wat jij precies met ze wil doen) is de perfecte addition van zoetigheid voor je big day. Het kan gaan op je dessert tafel als zoet tussendoortje, maar ook prachtig verpakt worden en meegegeven worden als "thank you" naar je gasten.
5. Donuts
These sweet and tasty little circles of happiness are sure to put a permanent smile on everyone’s faces! I know it will on my face! Donuts or (doughnuts) and donut holes are just about the hottest addition to the dessert world right now. Thank your lovely guests for coming with delicious donuts packaged up all pretty. Ook zijn donuts the perfect snack voor aan het werk de dag na het huwelijk. Niks is zo lekker als een day after treat while reminiscing on how wonderful the wedding was :)
Dit zijn nu een paar van de trends als het gaat om edible wedding favors. Candy apples, suikerspin & gem style chocolates zijn ook deel van deze trend.
