How to plan a memorable wedding
So, after some time we are back.... Ugh I'm not gonna lie I missed writing, but with everything going on and after COVID dragged us to filth, it was hard to be inspired again. But, hey.. you know what they say LOVE heals everything... So we are back, and we will be inspiring you again with our blogs.
Today I will be responding to a question that seems to come up alot. How do we plan a memorable wedding? Planning a memorable wedding is not easy, but also not hard. You have to have certain things in place, and you have to take into account several different factors.
MAKE SURE GUESTS ARE COMFORTABLE
Whether you are planning a wedding in September (sun) or December (usually rain), thinking of your guests will make for a standout and memorable wedding. Add touches that are venue and season-specific. For example, a wedding during sunny season or during a time frame where you will have the sun at its peak - how about providing personal fans, a bottle of water? Or if the wedding is outdoor, large umbrellas, or a space that has enough shade, so your guests don't burn. You can take it up a notch by personalizing everything that will be used.
Nothing says memorable for your guests than coming to your wedding and seeing both of you reflected in everything from the design, location and drinks. Many elements such as programs, menus and table settings can be personalized with your images (from your pre-wedding shoot) or your wedding logo. When personalizing your day, think of your favorite places, scents and even shapes and speak with your wedding planner and designer to help you incorporate them.
There are so many festivities that need to take place for during the wedding. When planning, look at ways of putting your stamp on them and making them personal to you both. Your guests may have attended many weddings so changing an aspect of it (but remaining authentic) will always stand out.
Think of which ceremony will take place when in the program.
Have fun in everything and remember that everyone you invite is there for both of you with love. It is your day, and you have control. It may be easy to get caught up in small details such as the exact color of someone's shoe or if the buffet exactly opens on 20:00 on the dot like the program. Do not get caught up in all that, and enjoy yourself, because before you know it, the day is over and done!

DESIGN DIFFERENT AREAS
For the normal weddings, we usually have the ceremony & reception. If possible, create a separate space for both events if the venue you are using allows it. Also, some specific traditions and ceremonies need to take place during either before or after the ceremony. Design these areas and look at how all guests will interact with them. Is there somewhere for kids to play if you are having children at your wedding? what about a guest with a newborn or those aunty's who cannot stand long at the cocktail hour for example? Or what about a lounge area for the afterparty? think low seating, sofas and somewhere for guests to unwind and party following the formalities of your day- Louge areas are always memorable! And trust me, it doesn't have to be super luxurious, as long as it is nice & comfortable and still goes with your overall theme, guest will enjoy itPERSONLIZE ALL ASPECT TO YOU
TRADITIONAL ELEMENTS, BUT WITH YOUR STAMP
